St. Lawrence Seminary High School is a diverse and vibrant community, drawing students from dozens of countries around the world and from all corners of our own country since 1860.

There is no one way to describe all that St. Lawrence stands for, other than to visit us and experience for yourself the spirit of the Sons of Calvary. For that reason, the weekend visit is a critical part of our admissions process.

St. Lawrence Seminary High School is a safe environment and provides an academic curriculum that prepares young men to pursue a career and succeed at any post-secondary school.

Our faculty and staff, in the context of a residential school, constantly reinforce the thinking and behavior that allows for continual and deepening participation and leadership in the Catholic Church, whether as lay or religious. St. Lawrence Seminary High School promotes an internalization of the Catholic Church’s moral and ethical values that motivate students’ behavior long after they leave the school.

St. Lawrence Seminary High School promotes growth in self-discipline, which enables the making of life choices which go beyond the self-centered norms of much of modern society. An education at St. Lawrence Seminary fosters a gradual awakening of service to and sacrifice for others.
