Is St. Lawrence Seminary High School Right For Your Family?

Our student body consists of young men from all over the U.S. and around the globe. A broad range of personalities creates a vibrant community where people of various ethnicities, cultures, backgrounds and experiences come together to live, study and grow in faith. There is no template that defines the ideal, or stifles the individuality of the St. Lawrence student, yet there are specific characteristics that are common to all who are successful in the journey to graduation.

  • St. Lawrence provides an ideal environment for students who value education and want to be both challenged and supported in their studies. The overwhelming majority of our students begin here with the assumption that college will follow and they want to be prepared both academically and socially.
  • St. Lawrence students are practicing Catholics from families that support and foster their faith. They desire to deepen their personal relationship with God and are open to exploring the path in life to which God is calling them, whether religious or lay, married or single.
  • In addition to academic goals and spiritual enrichment, most of our students are here because they desire something more than the conventional high school experience. There is often a sense of adventure, an understanding that some are meant to take a different path that appeals to our young men.

In the end, whether St. Lawrence is right for you is mostly a subjective question, and one that only a student and his family can answer. However, we will provide whatever resources are necessary to help guide you through the discovery and discernment process, not the least of which is participation in the Weekend Visit experience.
