Operation Back to School

Operation Back to School helps to provide school supplies for elementary and high school students in the Fond du Lac area who might otherwise not be able to afford them. St. Lawrence Seminary students join with hundreds of other volunteers from the Fond du Lac community to distribute school supplies on this last weekend of August. Juniors work alongside people from many area churches to fill students’ backpacks with all that they need for the upcoming school year.

"An education is important in the development of kids, and a good way to start a school year is by being prepared. When I was filling the bags the children needed for school, I not only got them ready for school, I got them ready for something bigger. This has been a unique experience that has taught me not only to appreciate the little things that I have, but also the numerous blessings others give for the benefit of others."
