Run in the footsteps of God.

Cross country is a fall sport, running from August through October. St. Lawrence Seminary High School has both varsity and junior varsity teams. Students in any grade are eligible to participate on either level. The cross-country team benefits from the many geographical features of the terrain on the school grounds and in the local area to help in the daily training for competition. Over the years the Cross Country team has set and held many impressive records. The team has been to numerous state tournaments and has won a variety of awards, including division championships and some conference titles. Many of their trophies and plaques are on display to inspire new students and encourage the more seasoned runners.

"I just wanted to write and commend your Cross Country team on the outstanding sportmanship and teamwork they had at the Laconia Invitational meet. I was so impressed by their team spirit. I've never seen a group of teammates cheering on each other as your school did that day. The boys that had finished stood near the finish and cheered on each and every other teammate as they neared the finish of the race. Their comments were all so positive...it was very refreshing to see this in a group of young men. You can be very proud of your student athletes and the image they portray of your school. I was proud of them and the Catholic image they exemplified that day. "
