The young men at St Lawrence need your contributions. Your generosity makes it possible for this and future generations to experience the blessings that come with living on the Hill. Be assured that all the Sons of Calvary are remembered on a regular basis in the prayers of the seminarians. To donate on-line, please click here.

From 2000 to 2008, he served as the Coordinator of Staff for the Diocese of New Ulm in Minnesota. During that time, he was involved with the development and implementation of a diocesan plan by which the Diocese became the first in the country to cluster all parishes into what are called “Area Faith Communities.” He has extensive parish experience in the Archdiocese of Milwaukee as a religious educator, youth minister, business manager, and pastoral associate. Mark lectured in pastoral studies for nine years at Sacred Heart School of Theology and in theological studies for four years at Mount Mary College in Wauwatosa, WI. In addition, Vinh focuses on attracting recent graduates to awareness of the Alumni Association’s activities and support of Our Alma Mater.
Fr. Greg Holicky (1964)
attended Saint Lawrence for high school and two years of college; completed a Philosophy Degree at Mount Saint Mary of the West (“The Athenaeum of Ohio”) in Norwood, (Cincinnati) Ohio. He studied Theology at the North American College in Rome at the Pontifical Gregorian University and the University for the Propagation of the Faith. Fr. Holicky was ordained a Priest of the Diocese of Gary, IN, in Saint Peter’s Basilica in Rome on the 17th of December, 1971. He served as Assistant Pastor and Pastor in various parishes, and now Chaplain at Saint Margaret Mercy Hospital, Hammond, IN for the last 16 years. His long-standing peripheral interests include music. He has built two full-console electronic organs from kits: one for Saint Lawrence, the year he was a senior, and one for his father. Over the past several years, he has toured the pipe organs of diverse cities with the Organ Historical Society, and also enjoys the smaller pipe organ tradition from carnivals, carousels, and the street-grinder tradition. He built his first personal computer (with a soldering iron) in 1976, and has been falling behind the technology ever since!
Don Enright (1975)
has been a resident of Glen Ellyn, Illinois for the past twenty years. He is happily married to Pam who works as a School Psychologist and has two children, Matthew age 14 and Anna 12. Don has also been employed as a Middle School Counselor for the past twenty-three years having previously worked as a High School Counselor, Coach and Social Studies Teacher. Don enjoys working with young people and spending time with his family. SLS has shaped him in many ways so he is grateful to be able to give back in his role as a husband, father, and educator.
Mark Lyons (1996)
After graduating from Cardinal Stritch University in Milwaukee with a Pre-Med degree, Mark entered the seminary to pursue theology. Though choosing not to be ordained a priest, Mark has worked for the Church for a decade in many different roles, primarily in formation. After serving as a consultant in 6 states, he now serves as an Adult, Marriage, and Family Minister and has relocated to the greater San Antonio area.
As a board member, Mark L. tries to create and develop community in all plans and activities of the board. By creating community between those who attended the hill during the same time period, this community keeps expanding due to successive generations of alumni coming together for continuing events.
Terry McLaughlin (1974)
On October 1st, 2014 I joined the Development Staff at St. Lawrence Seminary after 34 years in the graphic arts business in the Chicago metro area. I have been asked to concentrate on Major Gift giving opportunities. I'm thrilled to be able to give back to the school which had such an enormous impact on my life.
Terry's goal is to try to reach out to Alumni near and far and get them to reconnect with classmates.
William Burge (1985)
was born in Milwaukee and have lived in SE Wisconsin my entire life. I graduated SLS in 1985 and worked in manufacturing management until I returned to SLS in 2005 to work in Admissions for 3 years. I have since returned to manufacturing and am currently employed with Bevco Engineering in Sussex. I am Married 17 years to Kim and living in New Berlin with our two Sons, Logan & Wilson and daughter Shelby. Both of my boys are currently attending St. Lawrence. I am actively involved at Holy Apostles Parish & School in a wide variety of areas including catechism, music, photography, hospitality, athletics, and a number of general service areas. I have served on the SLS Alumni board since 2009 (I think).
Bill's goal as a board member is to connect and stay connected to St. Lawrence and the Alumni in a meaningful way and to contribute my time and talent to ideas and events that help my SLS brothers do the same. I want my sons to see that connection and how important it is so that they can appreciate and cherish their time on the Hill today and stay connected tomorrow.
