St. Lawrence Seminary High School

Academic Life

Seeking a higher purpose in life at our hilltop location is coupled with the practical pursuit of seeking a higher education.

Because the preparation of adolescents for active ministry in the Catholic Church is at the core of St. Lawrence Seminary, its academic curriculum reflects a strong bias toward college preparation. The student will be expected to pursue a college preparatory course that will include as a minimum:

  • 4 years Religious Studies
  • 4 years English
  • 3 years Social Studies
  • 3 years Science
  • 3 years Math
  • 2 years Foreign Language
  • 4 years Physical Education
  • 1 semester each: Music, Computer

Applications and Humanities

  • 65 total Ministry hours
