St. Lawrence Seminary High School

About Us

A community as diverse as God intended.

Saint Lawrence Seminary is a Catholic college preparatory boarding high school, owned and operated by the Capuchin-Franciscan friars. St. Lawrence is a place where students live, learn, work, and pray together. The student body is made up of about 225 young men. Because our students come from throughout the United States and many come from outside the U.S., numerous ethnic and cultural backgrounds are represented in our student population. This great diversity enables students to be exposed to a variety of cultures, traditions, ways of life and ethnic celebrations. Students enroll and continue at St. Lawrence because they seek a foundation that will give them the academic, social, and spiritual tools to become leaders in the Catholic church.

In our history of almost 150 years, no student has ever been turned away because he could not afford to come to St. Lawrence. With the aid of our fine benefactors, we partner with parents to make this opportunity available. Where there is a will, there is God.
